The Global Library is committed to empowering our users with the latest advancements in AI-powered research tools. We recognize the transformative potential of Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI applications in accelerating and enhancing the research process for both educators and students.
The Global Library is actively exploring various leading large language model (LLM)-based chat interfaces, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Perplexity.ai, and Stanford Storm, to assess their capabilities. By subscribing to premium plans for select platforms, the library is able to thoroughly evaluate their features and modules. Our exploration also extends to AI-powered research tools designed to streamline literature reviews, such as Connected Papers, Research Rabbit, Elicit, Consensus, Keenious, Scholarcy, and Semantic Scholar. Additionally, we are investigating the AI functionalities integrated into established literature search databases like Scopus.
The goal is to offer personalized recommendations to researchers, helping them choose the most appropriate platform and tools for their unique research needs.
